Overlay ("we," "us," "our") is developed and operated by Михайло Можайський and Катерина Кочубей, operating as individuals ("Developers"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Overlay mobile application (the "App"), a creator-first photo editing tool offering handcrafted stickers, frames, backgrounds, and fonts.

Overlay does not require you to create an account to use its core editing features. If we later add account functionality, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Overlay processes photos and images you choose to edit within the App. Editing is performed on-device. We do not upload, access, or store your personal photos on our servers unless you explicitly choose to share or export content through a feature that requires it (if such a feature exists, it will be clearly indicated in the App).

We retain analytics and usage data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as determined by the default retention settings of Firebase and Sentry, which you can review in their respective documentation. Subscription records are retained as long as needed for accounting, support, and legal compliance purposes.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information collected through the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Because Overlay is available globally and uses services such as Firebase, Sentry, and RevenueCat, your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
